My Favorite Cookbooks

After moving my collection from Denver to NYC a few years ago, I realized I had a problem. I love cookbooks. I have favorite cookbooks for different reasons. I’ve used Dorie’s Cookies so much. I love Hetty McKinnon’s Family because I helped cook the food for the photographs. Saltie is my sandwich bible. Other cookbooks are my inspiration to one day make my own cookbook. Mina Stone’s Cooking For Artists showed me that cookbooks could exist outside of the formal cookbook constraints.
